My first shot at a maternity shoot

I have never done a maternity shoot in my life. I’ve had inquiries here and there, but it never fell through. But this time I couldn’t escape it because the one asking for the shoot was my wife. But don’t get me wrong, I didn’t feel obliged. She’s such a beautiful pregger, and this is our first baby together. We both want to remember this time and what better way than through photographs.

We traveled to Sonya’s garden in Tagaytay, Philippines (some of you who know us may be getting pretty sick and tired of us talking about this place! hehehe. Bear with us!). Sonya’s is the place where we had our first date. We also returned to Sonya’s 2 years later to get married. And now, almost on our 2nd wedding anniversary, we came back (do we sound like migrating birds? LOL) for this shoot to celebrate this baby bump.

I learned that maternity shoots are fun after all. I hope you enjoy looking through them.

    Hi Sir Jar!

May I know if you got the permission of Sonya’s to have your shoot there? Especially yung mga outside shots? Do they have a fee for it? Planning on my Maternity Photoshoot too at Tagaytay 🙂

    Thanks!

    • Hi Angel! We booked a room overnight. And we told the staff. They let us shoot wherever. But I do remember that day having very few guests. Just ask them before you book. We didn’t have to pay an extra fee to shoot.
