Vintage Wonderland

Our trip to California mainly stayed around the Bay Area. But we did make a trip to Southern California towards San Diego – even if it meant driving 7-8 hours under a tight schedule. We just had to!

We met up with the team of Hez and Co. for a family portrait. We’ve been emailing back and forth for months about this shoot and wanted something special. It was Diego’s first birthday and we haven’t even had a proper family portrait. (I know I’m a photographer, but it’s harder than you think to be in the shot with an ever moving 1 year old). Who better to take our photo than these guys?! I met their creative director, Alfonso “Poncho” Hernandez years ago and was able to watch him grow in his career. He’s a charismatic fellow – enthusiastic about the work he does.

We were just blown away with what they came up with.

And for everyone reading this, I was able to squeeze in a little behind-the-scenes of the shoot (yey!):

What do you think? Isn’t the set just wonderful?

Beautiful photos tito Jar! That last family picture… that could go down the family history books for generations, simply amazing.
